I have an old analogue Nokia SAT 1700 MK II connected to an 80cm dual LNB dish pointing at the old Astra and Hotbird.
Is this still of use these days or should I bin it ?

    Back to Analogue.......:thumbsdow

I recently chucked mine, and matching positioner!!
They were swiftly followed by a Manhattan 9000, and a really prehistoric (but good in its day) NEC reciever, along with the 1m dish, actuator and stand.

Was thinking of setting it all up again, but remembered it took 3 weekends to get the dish correct.......

keep the dish and replace the box with a digital one as you can get free football and such on the foreign satallites as they broadcast unencrypted
