Hi all, I'm currently in possesion of an old NEC PX-42VP1G Plasma Screen. It's been used to show some promo display in a store, so there's a bit of screen burn, and the brightness/contrast seem quite low, but i've got an option to buy it reasonably cheaply (mostly as a second, bedroom display). Anyway, before I get my wallet out, I need to make sure I can get an RGB signal into it, from an RGB SCART output. (Several sources thru a switchbox). The specs of the model I have are here: http://www.nec.co.jp/press/en/9909/3001-01.html Im currently using the s-video socket, and the picture is reasonable, considering the screens age. I just need to know if I can utilise one of the 3 various RGB inputs: 1) 15pin D plug. I presume this is a VGA connection? (Excuse my stupidity if i'm wrong..) 2) 5 BNCs (R, G, B, H/CS, V). Can I use this lead from Keene http://www.keene.co.uk/cgi-bin/codesearch.pl?SBB42 to connect to this? 3) DVI 29 Pin Digital. I have NO idea what this is for, never seen a plug like this before. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, even if it's to tell me not to touch it with a bargepole!! (P.S: One of my DVD players, as well as my Xbox & Gamecube can produce a progressive scan output. Is this screen compatible? I dont think so, as there doesnt appear to be a component input?) Thanks in advance!
