Old JVC...

    Ok, I have a JVC GR-AX730U camcorder and want to do some editing. I hear all this about fire wire, but the camcorder is from ‘97, and doesn't have it. It has A\V out and a RF DC Out. I have no idea what the RF DC is, and whether or not it will be useful to me. Suggestions?

    As long as you have A/V out you can either use an external converter to convert your video to digital and then to your PC via firewire or go straight from your camcorder to an analogue capture card, as a starting point have a read of this article :-
