Old epson dust blob

Hi all. Recently bought an old epson ehtw 3200. Obviously out of warranty. Which wasn't much money and I was prepared to accept things might go wrong.

Seems they have. The picture is great no complaints there. But using people's advice I've easily diagnosed a dust blob on the left side of the screen which it definitely didn't have a few weeks ago. So it's picked it up in my flat darn it.

In black scenes it's like a large green smudge about 8inch diameter and if I turn out of focus. You can see it as a small spec.

I found a guide how to get rid of this on this forum but the imgur links are broken. Does anyone have any advise. I've seen to use compressed air but also been warned not to because it can leave moisture inside the optics thus ffing things up more.

If I can't fix it I can live with it for now. It's just if more develop.

Cheers.
