Old Antimode 8033 or 8033C?

Theres an opportunity to buy the old 8033 at a great price. Is it worth buying or just go for the latest Cinema version? Whats the benefit?

It's still a good bit of kit, depends what you call a great price :). The main difference I can find is the new models of Anti-Mode 8033 pass 5Hz to 160Hz (8033cinema, -3dB), and 5Hz to 250Hz (8033S-II, -3dB), and correct from 16Hz upwards.

Thanks
Just a tad over £100? Is that a good price?
mmm not particularly for the original 8033, I've seen 8033 Cinema going for £140. There's usually 1 or 2 in the classifieds on here.

Is around £40 more reasonable for it?
£40 would be an absolute bargain :), I'd have said around £80 should be the going price (for the standard 8033).

I had delivery of a Monolith plus DF in cheery today, so after ready how amazing the Antimode is I thought I'd take a punt on one. The monolith is sort of near a corner so the Antimode maybe of use. If not needed i will just resell on.
