Ok, heres what I want -

Either some DNM Reson Mk2 in a terminated 3.0m pair for £70

    OR

Some QED silver anniversary in a terminated 3.0 pair for £70

    Heres my kit -

    Cambridge Audio Azur 640a amp
Cambridge Audio Azur 640c cd player
    Project Debut Phono SB
    KEF Q4 floorstanders.

Ive heard the QED can be a little bass light...

    Also, is it worth biwiring??

Tricky choice considering you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between them blind, or any other cable in that price range for that matter. Personally, I would opt for mains flex etc. etc.....

Biwiring has two advantages. Firstly you introduce more copper into the cable leading to less resistance (may have an effect depending on the ability of the amp). Secondly you avoid those nasty jumpers that speakers have on them.

I want to prove i actually listen. I gave the jumper thing a go and it worked really well. It would work better than biwiring anyway as i could afford a better cable!!

I'll probably just do the jumper thing to be honest...

Anyone recommend which cable I should go for? Hopefully buying today :)

Couldn't you just use a small piece off of whatever cable you decide to go for between the connectos on the speaker?

I'm thinking about doing this myself so would like some opinions.
