oh yes,its dead!!!

    well just tried turning my ae100 on green light comes no fan starts or anything.then after a minute it starts flashing then the lamp light starts flashing red:(

    lets hope s&v exchange it with no problems:rolleyes:
    ill give them a ring tomorrow

    not to worry,i was sorta expecting this

    Hi Carl,

    Sorry to hear about your Panny, Just to let you know you are not alone (see my new thread RIP). What a nightmare. I think there is something very strange going on here. I really want to get another but have to admit to being a tad worried. All i want is a Projector with NO dead pixels and that when you switch it on, it shows a flicker free picture on the screen..CONSISTANTLY.
    You would think this would be a fairly basic requirement wouldn't you, even if it's ony £1350 or thereabouts. Good luck mate. hope you get it sorted out to your satisfaction.

    mmm,ive just been thinking weather i should get a refund and wait till panasonic sorts this common prob out.

    phoned s&v today,

    they where really good,they said that there next shipment will be aprox 4 weeks so he recomended geting it looked at,whitch should be quicker(i hope)
    so im just waiting for a call from the service people.
