The 1981 drama Absence of Malice, starring the late, great Paul Newman, and directed by the late, highly acclaimed director Sydney Pollack, is not only packed with good performances (including an Oscar-nominated one from Newman), it is also founded upon a superior central issue, and one which continues to be relevant even to this day ...

On Region A-locked US Blu-ray we get good video and decent audio, as well as a couple of nice extras that keep this from being just another mistreated, forgotten, bare bones back-catalogue title ...
