Got a job on over in the US in the next couple of weeks (San Fran, Vegas and L.A) and was just trying to think if there's anything worth picking up in the states much cheaper than over here. Ipod? Trainers? My mind has gone blank...what ideas have you got people??

Well with the exchange rate being so good you can pretty much buy anything and it will be cheaper than here.
Clothes are good buys but take the tags off before you come home so you do not get stung at customs..I stocked up on Abercombie & Fitch clothing last year,T-shirts were $35(£20) compared to the £60 you pay for them at the new A&f shop in London.I must have spent around $400 on clothes at various shops,if I had bought the same stuff in the UK it would have cost about £1000.Rip off britain strikes again..

Just about everything is going to be cheaper with the current exchange rate :smashin:

But, just remember your customs limit... (not that you will find many customs officers on duty mind you)

Also, try and find an outlet mall. They are all over the place these days.
We always pick up some tremendous bargains on designer label clothes, and there's the double whamy of the current exchange rate.

Timberland boots, about 1/4 of the price.

Size 9, if you have any space in your bag please.
