off to get my LCD tomorrow !

    i've decided on a toshiba 17" w/s from Empire for £320
    or from Argos the mikomi 17" w/s with a glass stand for £320

    where shall i go, Argos or Empire ?????

    dont go to either. for £499 you can get a 27"er. Especially dont go to argos.

    its for my bedroom so only a 17" or 20" will fit

    I would strongly urge you to consider adding to your budget and looking at the likes of the JVC 23". £507 online via www.dealtime.co.uk, probably + P&P.
    If the TV is to be used with a computer, then 20" is out as most, if not all panels made for 20" TV are 800x600 resolution.
    The 23" will be widescreen and 1366x768 - much nicer to watch movies onas well as playing games. It's also HD Ready.
    Samsung also have 23" ones, but not sure if they're any cheaper, and the JVC impressed me with an analogue signal some months ago.
    As an investment for the next lot of years, spend the extra now and reap the rewards for the years ahead.

    only a 17" or 20" will fit my bedroom.i won't b using it for my computer.
    looked at a BEKO 20" in ASDA other day.will be using it for freeview,tv and with my dvd recorder.
