According to the instructions it takes about 12 to 14 hours to chard the battery for the first time using the docking station.

I plugged mine yesterday at 6pm and at 8am this morning it still says low battery and doesn't even power the backlight. What am i doing wrong???

I have tried normal betteries and the romote is fine with them?

    Any clues anyone

When I first recharged mine it didn't appear to have worked - the "battery low" message still showed. After pressing the buttons a few times the message disappeared and the unit was, in fact, charged.
If that's not the case I guess the unit is faulty as was my first one.
I took it back to Richer Sounds who changed it without any problem.

i was thinking of getting a OFA Mosaic. What do you think of it? Does it do everything you want it to? A

Any bad points (apart from the charging!!)

cheers for your help, i want it to control my LG Plasma, JVC VCR, SKY + (does it do that?), Sony Amp and Panasonic DVD player?

Does it have Macro capability as well?

Sorry for all the questions, i dont know much about it!

    cheers rob :D

I've got one controlling 9 devices am very pleased with it. Charging has been no problem to me.
I haven't got Sky+ so don't know exactly how it copes with that.
It has got the facility to learn from existing remotes and also has macro capability.

    Thanks for the reply.

Do i have to have the original remote or can it replace one thats been lost (as my sony Amp remote is gone!), thats the main reason i want it, as to replace the Sony remote it will cost me nearly £200!!!

    cheers again

I would guess it would be able to operate a Sony amp. It would certainly control the main functions like volume and input select.

Have a look at their website:
    http://www.oneforall-int.com/index.html
    There's lots of info there.
    Cheers

    Robyoung,

Just got one from the dreaded e-bay , well happy with it, the learn facility is great, all for under £40!!! only thing i would point out is the display could be brighter / clearer, this is not a major issue at all though.

    Cheers
