My nomination goes to this ****.
Jesus, the people who run/own ebay should pay ten fold to the fund for what has been lost. Not to mention the chance lost for a real fan to do something fantastic.
Disgrace that Ian
that just sucks :
It's a sad state of affairs when people get pleasure out of hoaxes and even worse for something like this which is a one-off event.
Sickening, although not entirely surprising when they chose to run it through eBay. Phone-bids direct to the MCC may have been a better plan.
It's an excellent idea though so let's hope it does happen and that other sports take it up - I'm sure someone would enjoy 15 minutes coaching by Johnson followed by a 5 minute scrum against the Australian pack.
I know Shane Warne isn't everone's cup of tea but isn't that a bit strong?
I was wondering why it didn't happen this afternoon! I saw an item about it on SkySportsNews yesterday and was hoping to see some amateur hit Warne for six back over his head!!
and please no Marcus Trescothick jokes!
Could they not get in touch with the second highest bidder?
I think that most of the highest bids came from this type of ********. I know that we are supposed to live in a politically correct enlightened society but public humiliation of people like this is an appropriate punishment IMO.
Bring back the stocks
On a slightly different note, I wonder if we could have a forum ******** of the week award ? If so, I would like to vote for myself this week - not only did I mess up putting in my pin number twice yesterday in a shop in town, I then couldn't find the exit and had to ask the girl how I got out
No you cannot, a **** head (can that word be used on this forum ). Is some one who impinges on other people, what you experiences was old age which is forgivable.
EDIT or should I say in your case forgettable.
Has to be Alex Ferguson for his written assessment of Liverpool's progress through the Champion's League...though I can't find the story on the internet today. R5 were running it yesterday
