Hi there, does anybody know who performs the song they play at the beginning of a film at Odeon?

Not "I Like It Like That" by Pete Rodriguez, the other one.....

It's an instrumental with a female singer going "la la la" a bit.

Cheers.

This is a copy of an email I received after mailing Odeon asking about the Pete Rodriguez tune

Thank you for your e-mail regarding Odeon's title Music.

The piece of music you are referring to is a 20 second sample,
from the title track "I like it like that" by Pete Rodriguez.

Another piece of music which we have recently added, is when we
are advertising the advance bookings (e.g Web, WAP and Filmline).
This is called "Blue" and was specially composed for the ODEON
by Nick Ryan.

These pieces are not available to buy from any ODEON outlet, but
may be available from on-line stores.

Best Wishes

Andrina

It's quite a while since I've been to an Oseon cinema so not sure if it's changed(is it the one with bluey/purple graphics?).

Thats the one! But I can't find an MP3 anyway :( .

There is a video here (Click "Archive" -> "Television and Branding" -> "Odeon".)

Any ideas how to extract the Audio?

If your soundcard is a full duplex job (many are) then all you need to do is

- set up your mixer software
- record it while it's playing.

I have absolutely no idea how to do that...I don't suppose you could do it and email it to me?!
