I have a Sony STRDB940 for less than 1 year and I am generally pretty pleased with it. Over Xmas I got the CD "The Ecleftic", Wyclef Jean. When I played track 19. "Wish you were here", just after the intro piece(about 15secs) the bass kicks in and the cones on my speakers(MS10i) bounce in and out very severly with a very loud thumping noise so much so I had to cut it for fear of damaging my speakers. Now I have played other cd's without problems and I also hooked up another cd player and set of speakers and got the same effect but only with this one track. I played the track on a sony all in one(MD,CD,Tape,Radio) system and it played fine. Can anyone shed any light on this or what I might do to counteract this. All the settings on the amp are as I bought it.
