It only happend 2 or 3 times in 1 year, but my MXE433 did the following, which I cannot explain: > the image collapses to a thin horiz. line across the screen > a large (and frightening) "SHOUTDOWN" sign come up > the screen shuts down, but the red led keep blinking, instead of of being steady > you cannot switch on-off the MXE > I have to unplug it from the wall in order to reset it, than it would go on normally. Important: > it only happend after the DVD playback of home-made DVD-R froze (back disks, or bad encoding, or bad luck). Never with proper DVDs or other inputs Notes: > I use a Arcam DV88plus with PS output > connection is direct to the plasma with Component cables Has anyone experienced anything similar? How can just a "signal failure" cause the screen to wanting to shut-down? Other than this oddity the 433MXE is superb.
