Odd lip sync issue with two different Lite-on Recorders

I have the 5115 and two friends the 1105.

Mine and one of the 1105 models both have lip sync issues on recorded content, yet the other 1105 is fine.

It doesn't do it off-air through the recorder or with purchaed DVD's only the recorded discs. Make makes no difference.

I'm the only one who updated the firmware thinking it would cure it, it didn't.

Any other Lite-on owners noticed this?

WHY OH WHY DID YA BUY A LITE-ON????
Your problem sounds like a manufacturing fault.Send it back to get it fixed(I hope you are still in warranty?)That's the only way.

Well

1. There gear gets good if not great reviews and is quite highly regarded.
2. They make kit for other companies.
3. There not cheap so didn't think I was taking a risc with kit that records on almost any media and
4. I've got 2 DVD PC burners and a CD burner from them and never had probems.

Obviously not enough proof. And I had my recorder before the other two.

Strangely I transfered two video recordings to it last night with no lip-sync issues. That I don't understand.
