Had a few days in Prague this week and had a couple of ideas. So, going by previous experiences, I have probably chosen the wrong but anyway .......

Photo of the glass/skeleton design lift inside the Tower of the Old Town Hall. Real mix of of old meets new, the tower can be recorded back to the 14th century where as the lift was installed only a few years ago. The event of the skyscraper around the turn of the 20th century meant there needed to be a method for getting up and down in a timely fashion, therefore the elevator or lift was modernised from those used in industry and agriculture for more domestic use.

Anyway , enough of the waffle, here's the picture - 6D with 24-105, edited in DXO Opticspro 11 (free version).

Thanks for the comments, much appreciated. No real reason for that way up, it was the way it came out of the camera and thought it was slightly more interesting.

For info, my other choice was “Tempos Fugit” I.e. clocks.

Post #2, photo 2 here - A tale of two rivers

With all the skyscrapers these days, lifts surely are critically essential technology. I love this.
