    Hi,
Hope I don't get flamed but I put a similar question in the HD section, but no replies there...
My TV-link+ setup is working fine to control the Sky+ box in the lounge using a remote control in the kitchen. I have recently bought a Octava 3x2 switch (also in lounge) so that I can also watch HDTV in the kitchen. The switch works fine when pointing the remote directly at the switch, but only works intermittently from the kitchen. The IR blaster is directly in front of the Octava switch. Controlling my AppleTV through the TV-link+ also works fine. Hence I assume this must be a problem with the TV-link+ system and the specific IR signal from the Octava remote.
Does anyone have similar experiences with an Octava remote and TVlink+? Alternatively can anyone recommend an 'alternative' IR sender that is compatible with the Octava?
