Here are the real figures from their spec's:

    Width: 90 mm (NW-HD3) - 89.3 mm (NW-HD5)
    Height: 62.1 mm (NW-HD3) - 55.9 mm (NW-HD5)
    Depth: 14.8 mm (NW-HD3) - 14.5 mm (NW-HD5)

    Weight: 130 g (NW-HD3) - 135 g (NW-HD5)

Conclusion: The NW-HD5 is about 0.5 mm shorter, it weights more 5 g, and most of all is a ton lot more ugly then the HD3 ! :D

But if you want to compare dimensions the NW-HD1 is still, "The Daddy" in my opinion.

    Height / Width: 62.1 mm (NW-HD3) - 55.9 mm (NW-HD5) - 63.4 mm (NW-HD1)
    Depth: 14.8 mm (NW-HD3) - 14.5 mm (NW-HD5) - 14.3 mm (NW-HD1)

    Weight: 130 g (NW-HD3) - 135 g (NW-HD5) - 110g (NW-HD1)

A word of advice. Keep your HD1 or change it for the HD3, but please dont make the mistake of changing it for the HD5.

It's funny how some people get so obsessed with thier own players they think everybody should own them and they beg and plead all the time, buy mine, buy mine.

Buy what you want and enjoy it.

I think for most people, when they are about to spend £150 - £250 they would like some advice? Pros, cons. Makes sense don't it?
