I wonder if the usb cord would work with nw-hd1? Has anybody tried this? Also if anybody could post a picture of this cord? Today I want to Sony's store to see if they have those cords. A lady told my that it's a normal usb cable plus additional adapter? Is it true?

It's a normal USB cable (USB - mini USB) plus an additional adaptar. It works on HD1 but u can't charge ur unit via USB, only for music transfer.

That is correct, i have not used my HD1 docking cradle and only used my HD3 charger and USB cable adapter to transfer with my HD1

u still need the charger to load files with the usb-cable

dont waste your money to buy the usb-cable from hd-3

the cradle from hd-1 isnt that big at all, its just the power adapter...
