    Hi Guys,

Just wondering if any here have any info on this card.

My current GF2 GTS (awaiting a Rad 9700 Pro) has been "flickering" on my desktop monitor (intermittently) for the last few weeks.

It never does this on my AE-100 in 856x480 res.

Seeing as I have a 3 yr warranty with it, I contacted the vendor yesterday, & received a new replacement today - an nVidia Quadro 2 MXR.

It's a way smaller card, lower clock & mem speeds, no cooling fan (good for HC use :D ) & no where near my GF2 GTS for gaming.

    So what should I do?

Just checking the net it's a "workstation" card, designed for CAD & 3D Max etc...

Seems to be quite expensive also, approx £220+ as seen here .

I think it's only for "commercial" use - a GF4 Ti would kick it's ass for gaming etc..., but apparently "accuracy" is paramount in 3D modelling etc.

What do you reckon, get back to them & demand a better card for gaming, or sell it & buy something else?

I'm going to put it in the FS forums, but, TBH can't see much demand for it here.

    What's it worth?

    Here's a pic.

    Any info appreciated.
