    Hi,

I recently purchased a Nuvi 360T and have so far been generally happy with it, however for the first time I tried to use the traffic alert antenna in the car the other day and once plugged into the unit it complained that it needed to have a power source. No problem I thought, so I took the car adapter out of the box and went to plug it into the unit but it uses the same connection as the TMC aerial ??!!??

Should there have been an adapter in the box (no mention on it on the list of contents) or should the in-car adapter been a jack style (as there is a seperate power input on the unit. It seems a bit odd to provide a clash of connections out of the box.

Can anyone shed any light on this please?

    Thanks in advance

Contact the dealer who supplied the units, or the garmin website

Hi, I have a Nuvi 360T and I have the cigarette lighter power lead to the connection on the windscreen mount and the traffic antenna plugged into the small socket on the side of the Nuvi unit. Hope that makes sense, if not just ask.
