Nice review - they do look flimsy though although they are well made. A little tight though making propitiatory cables.

Sometimes, looking at your reviews page, it's like your scores are generated by a code function. Something like

      IF Product = UnknownNetflixShow
      THEN Score = 6
      ELSE Score = 9

but is it better than the two leading bluetooth headsets at the moment, i.e the Bose QC35 II or the Sony 1000XM3? A score in isolation without comparing to something in the higher price point is not as useful as comparing with something that is well tested and widely known as a reference point...

If this works in a simillar way to Adapt Sound on my Samsung S8 then it will definitely make a big difference to the sound quality. I have some cheapish Senheiser BT headphones which were a bit flat and lifeless, but using Adapt sound on my phone really brought them to life (in a natural way). So much so that I don't miss my AKG K550's when I'm listening at work. (and especially not the 3m cable :))

I bought, tried and returned them.
The sound quality was no better than my Sony WH-1000XM3‘s and the protrusion that fits into your ear canal I found extremely uncomfortable.
In addition, the black silicone earpads are a magnet for dandruff.

So, Im guessing these have a built in DAC and audio processor to modify the signal according to your hearing profile. How do these compare in sound quality with something such as the Senheisser HD600's after having been 'tweaked' to your hearing? As you mentioned there is some pretty stiff competition out there for that price.
Personally Im not convinced, I have not had a great deal luck with profiling headphones, crossovers, Digital Signal Processing and the like. All of these modify the original sound and you lose something in the process(ing).

I have a pair and they are very impressive. I tend to wear IEMs anyway and so these offer a wider soundstage and greater bass.
For reference I use Shure se 535s with custom silicon molds and a pair of beyerdynamic dt 990s. Whilst the fitting will only suit a few they do sound clear, punchy and open
