if i bought a wii and wanted a 2nd player do you have to buy a nunchuck and a wii remote?
Depends on the games you plan to play. We have two Wii Remotes(only one nunchuck) and two player Wii Sports Tennis & Baseball are fine, no nunchucks needed, out of that package of games only the Boxing would require two of each controller for a two player game. Yet to play Golf yet as only bought the Wii yesterday but I'm pretty sure you take turns with the Remote only as with Bowling.
I think some other games such as Rayman Raving Rabbids have most sections taking in turns, but the ones that do have 2 player simultatious, they do require both players to have a Wii Remote & Nunchuck each.
Hope that makes sense.
