Hi all. :)

I'm looking into setting my Denon AVC-A11SR in a 6.1 configuration.
However, as my settee is against the back wall, I have absolutely no room to accommodate a "normal" rear-center speaker.

How do you think a flat/picture-frame-like NTX speaker would fare?
There are some cheap ones to be add.

Thanks in advance. ;)

I don't think it would work that well. I've been experimenting with 6.1 for the past couple of days and it seems to me it needs space behind you to work. Even then it's more of a back fill channel rather than anything major. I spose it's possible you could fit a panel to the ceiling but IME NXT aren't quite as good in reality as they seem in theory.

Are you just trying 6.1 or do feel you're lacking something in the rear effects?

Thanks for the reply, Mat. :)

Not really lacking, just curious.
I have a frame above my settee that needs changing. ;)
