Wonder if anyone can help me with this little problem..

My current TV is a Schneider 28 inch 4:3 set (3 Scarts..P-I-P)..I've had it for roughly 4 years. Normal PAL viewing is fine, but on any NTSC source, be it from DVD, video or from satellite, the picture has an odd effect with it..damn hard to explain what I mean exactly..the left side of the picture has pulled away from the edge of the screen by about 1 cm, and on the right side of the screen, there is almost like a 'ghosting' over the last 1cm-almost as if there are two pictures on the last 1 cm of picture down the right side of the screen.

Anyone by any chance know what could have caused this?..it's been like this for a few months now..
