    Hi

As the title says, I need to check if NTSC lock is on my dads tv set, apparently on Sony set you can disable/enable it as I am having problems with some of his NTSC discs, the set by the way is KV32FQ75 , and no he has no problems with it! Rather a stunning picture if Sony mnaged to address all the faulty ones.

Anyhows, since i dont have access to the manual (different locations) any help appreciated, cheers.

NTSC should be accepted without problem.

What do you mean by "problems with some of his NTSC discs"? Can you be more specific?

My R2 PAL discs work fine, only his ntsc discs dont (all black and white, flicering, sound is ok). I remember once changing the AV setting on one of his older Tosh tv's from s-video to normal so as the second scart could be used by bro's playstation, im wondering if thats what needs to be done here.

    Cheers

Have you tried it using RGB and/or composite? PAL 60 on S-Video? (Make sure DVD player is set accordingly)

This is noted on the techtronics website
    FS70 Techtronics

At the bottom it says how you could do it yourself if you so wished - with care of course.
