Another NTL Digital & home cinema question Im afraid. Mine is slightly different in that I am using my Sony DVPNS400D's DD processor combined with AE Aego 5 Sub W amp to drive system. However I cant get my NTL STB to work through the speakers. I have bought a SCART to 2xPhonos but it looks like my Sony DVD has PHONO OUT only. SCART to SCART doesnt work either - Am I missing something?

Your Sony dvd player is not the key to this. You must get the audio signal from NTL into your amp either from a pair of phonos from the NTL box or use the audio output from a scart ( ie scart to 2 phono convertor). Apologies if i'm reading you incorrectly.

    Thanks,

I see where you are coming from!

I dont think the Sub Woofer AMP has any other connection possibilities apart from the 6 channel inputs from the DVD. Makes it a little more tricky!

There is more than one way to skin a cat. Can you pick up the NTL audio from the tv phono outputs ? Or pick up the NTL audio from the scart output at the tv ?

    Worth a shot...

Will this output the audio through the 6 speakers ? (albeit stereo)

TBH, I don't think it will. You would connect into the main front pair input ( through a 'Y' adaptor, i forgot to say that in the previous post. The adaptor is only a couple of quid.) You may get pro-logic though.
