So was on the blower to NTL getting my modem fixed after the upgrade from 1mb - 1.5mb (oh thats a point - you might want to check your settings. I noticed a distinct loss of performance on my link and my TCPIQ results proved this - so the bloke at NTL just logged onto my modem and did some gubbins - he now says the config file is saying 1.5mb - before it was saying 1mb) Its worth checking people - at least reboot your modem ) Anyhows I digress .. was looking at their service status and came across On the morning of Thursday November 11th between midnight and 6am:- Broadband customers in Northfields, Cambridge, Canniesburn and the surrounding areas may experience a loss of connection for a few hours due to network resegmentation work. **** **** **** - So im going to go get HALO2 at middnight and then come home to no network .. buggar ..
