NTL E4 Subtitles

    Anyone know what is going on with E4 on NTL and why I have subtitles plastered all over the The West Wing ?

    Is this on Sky as well?

    I don't have NTL, but on DTT TV, (what used to be ITV Digital), E4 was running EPG info and for a while subtitles, even though the channel had been taken off air.

    My understanding is that the pictures and sound had been blocked, but everything else had been left going in the meantime.

    Maybe ut's the same on NTL...
