After unsuccessfully searching the forums, I wonder if anyone can help me? I have an NTL cable tv digibox, and it is connected to a cable which runs into a box on the external wall. I want to extend this cable to run it either to the opposite side of the room or into another room completely. I have a video-sender, but unfortunately the signals used by ntl don't work on them.
All pointers will be greatfully received.
    Thanks
    Dean.

You can plug a longer coaxial cable cable into your wall socket. Use high quality 75-ohm cable ; double-screened is best.
I would advise against extending your existing cable (adds too much loss as well as less reliable).
It should need an F-type (male) connector at each end - available from Maplins, B & Q and satellite shops.

Use satellite type cable (CT100) , not TV aerial cable.
