Just A Quick Question. I Have Looked Everywhere For This Answer Without Finding A Definitive One; What Cable/ Method Will Give Me The Best Picture Quality To Connect An Ntl Box To A Hitachi 42pd5200 Plasma Screen. Plasma Has All Usual Inputs. Thanks For Looking :)

Just 2 scart sockets, one for tv one for video (which I won't be using). No audio but I do need to split audio and visual. Thanks

Until recently I had the same setup (NTL Digibox --> Hitachi 42PD5200). The box was a Pace 1000, this had RGB out via the & two analogue phono outputs.

You're pretty limited in your options as the Hitachi doesn't support conversion from RGG --> VGA. You could maybe get an RGB --> Component converter, how effectively this allows you to 'split' audio from video I don't know but it may improve picture quality.
