I'm connecting a cable compatible router to my system (PC connected via Xover ethernet into an ethernet to USB adaptor.

It works like a dream as it is (without a router) but I need the router to connect my Xbox and PS2

I can't even connect to the router on it's given address when I try to set it up

    Any ideas?

And please don't mention removing the USB adaptor because I know of 3 people with the same setup who use theirs fine.

using the USB dongle due to no ethernet adaptor or spare slot.

    It's a linksys etherfast 4 port dsl/cable router
    It's an NTL STB

I'm wondering if the crossover adaptor has something to do with it.... not sure why it has to have one to worl... but thats the way it is!!

I'm going to log into the chat room now (I know you spend a little time in there Dragon!!)
