So I finally decide to get a TH42PW6 from Richer sounds, I go to the shop and the B ds have put the price up by £200. So I leave in a huff and go to ENL, a local specialist who have a panasonic TH42PE30 and and TH42PW6B side by side. Now I thought these were mean to be the same screen basically, but the TH42PE30 looked fantastic, I mean really great, exactly what I want from a plasma(it also seems to win loads of awards) BUT the TH42PW6B looked very poor next to it. Salesman said it had the same feed etc, it was just TV probably Digital knowing ENL. Can any one explain why there was such a difference, does the Viera bit means it gets some extra processing or something. Are they not really the same screen at all? Do I need to save more pennies and buy a TH42PE30 even though I won't use the speakers and already have a tuner ? This plasma lark is very confusing. Oh BTW Richer sounds have dropped the price back down £100 now. It was obviousy a special Saturday price to stop me buying one !
