IMG_2623.JPG IMG_2622.JPG Great polysynth with the classic Nova sound engine. Touch sensitive control dials, aftertouch keybed and it also has a built in audio usb interface as well as midi. Unboxed and no gooseneck mic but I never used the vocoder; you can simply route audio through the inputs. Lots of features and sounds great; i just dont get time to use it.
I can throw in an ad-hoc psu but it runs off USB power so pretty much anything will power it. Integrates into a DAW with its own editor and library software and plays all Nova synth patches. Sad to see it go but I only ever used it as a midi controller for my macbook.

No idea mate, would need to find suitable packaging first but its a robust little thing and collect+ tend to do decent prices. I imagine around a tenner plus insurance??
Will check and look for packaging if you are interested in buying.

Yeah I would be, Doncaster is a bit far from me! Can you use this with cubase etc to use the synth sounds to make a tune? I haven't played with any studio stuff for years but contemplating getting back into it......

    Thanks

I use it with Logic Pro on a Macbook and it has its own plug in which gives access to all the functions of the synth on screen although you still need the synth for the sounds. It has a basic 2in audio usb interface so you could also use it to record external audio into your DAW digitally. Sounds like just the thing for starting out with digital recording. If you look at the Mininova, one of their latest synths, it has exactly the same sounds but a better interface and full size professional keys.
Collect plus with insurance up to £300 would still be around £15, would have to see if we have a suitable box at work.

Do you know what happened to the mic? Is it possible to use the vocoder without it??

Never came with a mic. You can use any XLR mic or process sound from the 1/4" jacks.

How open to offers are you? I'm interested but it would have to be lower because ideally I'd like one with the vocoder microphone...... Thanks

The gooseneck mic can be had for £17 on ebay so I would reduce by that. The price already reflects the lack of box and mic. They sell for between £400-£500 new. Additionally any XLR mic can be used or audio can be routed through the external inputs which means any audio source can be filtered/modulated by the vocoder.

Reluctantly, will have to decline. I presume that is also to include delivery?

Thanks but thats still a £50 drop from asking. Given the lack of mic (and that I am eyeing up an OP-1) I would do £230 and cover basic delivery via Collect+
However, i need to find a suitable box first.

Hi mate , the max I can do is £215 What is collect+, is that where you collect from a local shop?

Is this the same ultranova you had for sale in 2014?

Cant do that mate and the message in the email I received was £220...
Collect+ do shop to shop or shop to house; the latter I would have used to send. it doesn't cost much (£9) but insurance would bump it up.
If I recall that was a Mininova? I wanted the same synth engine with full size keys and aftertouch.

To be honest I'd rather keep it as a master keyboard/spare USB interface for that price but thanks anyway.
