Noticeable step up from Focal Chorus 716?

Hi there. I’m currently running a cxa81 Cambridge audio amp through focal chorus 716 speakers in a 1300 cubic feet living room.

I feel like my amplifier can push better speakers and I could get a better sound in my current space. I do like my current set up but it can be a bit fatiguing after a little time (2 hours is about the most I can have music playing without a break.)

Would the Aria 906s for example be a noticeable upgrade? Are they mellower than the old chorus line?

The KEF Q550 in white certainly appeal visually too but are they more of a sidestep than an upgrade?

Appreciate any insight from current and former focal owners/cxa amp owners

Cheers.

Triangle also. Haven’t heard any of them, apparently they are bright sounding like Focal. Just guess from me.

Rather get MA Gold Series.

Q550 are only budget small floorstanders...they probably are not a noticeable step up. Monitor Audio Gold, Dali Rubicon, Kef R series, Mission ZX series and Spendor A line should be expected to be a step up.
