Took this of my brother-in-law Andy today. Not your usual angle or crop but I wanted to try something a bit different. Taken with the 70-200 f/2.8

I like this, a proper startled pose and the framing and the eye position makes you wonder what could be lurking out of frame on the right

Nice one Steve, begs the question, "what is he looking at"?

    Cool shot - very quirky.

How are you finding the lens (es)

Great Idea for a portrait Steve. Hope you don’t mind but I couldn’t resist a bit of mirror image on it!
You might compare it with you original shot and see how unsymmetrical people’s faces are!

Nice shot Steve. Tells us a little bit about his personality perhaps?

Lightpainter. That makes his neck look very thick and his face much fatter. I don't think he'd thank you for that :D

    Cheers Guy,

Lenses are great. Not used them as much as I would have liked and this was my first real use of the 70-200 (real use as in 4 or 5 shots ) but they are both super sharp, at very least equal to the 24-105 I replaced. Bring on the better weather I say!

More likely mine I reckon

Excellent - glad you're happy with them. Both crackers.
