not happy with all in one toshiba sd-42 hk, need upgrade info help please?

    got early version of toshiba sd-42 hk all in one dobly,Dts ect. as been to AV forum member, considering to upgrade my AV system.
    my question is whether to buy seperate AV receiver eg, Marataz 5400, or speakers upgrade Mission speaker, subwoofer or both av receivr and speakers. mind u i got toshiba speaker in package.

    headache for upgrade.should n't read AV forum.

    I realise the Toshiba SD-42k isn't a particularly good system on any level but what are you looking to improve and what features do you require?

    hi bonzo,

    i guess proper surround sound with seperate amp, good speaker system.

    budget 500 quid. any suggestion for upgrade.
