What about the big films with no imminent release on DVD.

Like Star Wars trilogy, the godfather trilogy, the back to the future trilogy and the Indiana Jones trilogy. Just so that I don't look fixated with trilogies let me add ET and the Goonies.

Well you've already mentioned most of the BIG releases, but there is a film that I've been waiting for and I've never heard anything in terms of a release date: Quick Change - I've had this gem on VHS for years and I think it's one of Bill Murray's best performances in a film that's actually very funny.

The Special edition of 2001 is due for release in mid 2001 (surprise surprise) on R2. The BFI has been preparing a remastered print for years, so it should be good [IMG]

One film i wanted to see on DVD has been announced for 2001, and thats Close Encounters of the Third kind.

Heaven and Earth - as in the Oliver Stone one?

It's part of the Oliver Stone R1 Collection due January 16th. All discs should be available seperately too. Course that's no use unless you are multi-region...

Thanks Matt, looking forward to that release which will hopefully be available seperately.

(And of course we are multiregion ...)
