Ok I know not strcitly av equipment, however I am looking for a pair (or 3 if a 2:1 system) of Pc speakers for under £70. Any suggestions for those that are reasonable value for money (and hopefully do not look too bad either)

    Thanks daniel,

dfour - any particular model you recommend? The INtrigue look good, similar to the Altec Lansing 2100 - have you heard the creative or the Lansing to compare them?

For that sort of price you might be able to find some s/hand studio monitors which should be excellent for stereo.

    This sort of thing:

Obviously they're far too expensive (except maybe the Edirol's) but should give excellent stereo reproduction if you need active speakers.
