I lost my 64GB iPhone the other day and really can't afford to get another 64GB. I have no idea how close to full it was with apps and music. If I get a 16GB version and find out I had 60GB of data on there, will it still restore from backup ok? Will it just ask if I want to forget about the music collection?

Is there a way to check how much data I had on it. It always backed up to iCloud when plugged in and wifi on in my house.

    Thanks guys

PS anyone wanna sell me their old 4S charitably cheap

Yes, all 60 gig will fit on your 16 gig. :smashin:

It's your call what you sync to a phone.

Try logging in to your iCloud account and see how much space you have available (unless you bought extra space, you only get 5 gig as standard).

Mine will be available soon, although I'm not a charity. :)

    Just being facetious? :p

On restoring, does it give you the option though? Bear in mind it's not a backup to iTunes on my PC, but to iCloud.

Logged in and can see my phone book etc, but nothing about what's stored there. I don't have anything stored there apart from backup from iPhone.

Unfortunately, I need charity prices :smashin: Otherwise I'll probably just get a new one.
