Hello - I have recently upgraded free to Norton IS 2009 via the Symantec website but my current Norton subscription will expire tomorrow. If I buy a new 2009 12 month license, from say ebay, will I need to uninstall the existing Norton or would it be just a case of entering the security key info? I see on the Norton renewal screen that there is a box for 'I have already purchased a subscription and I will type my Renewal Code in the spaces provided' - not sure if a new licence of ebay would be treated as a renewal. Thanking you.

I would dump Norton and use the many free services available which don't hog your system resources like Norton.

Zone Alarm & Avast have done a good job for me for years and cost me nothing.
