My subscription is about to expire on my Norton System Works 2002 and I have a couple of questions.

Is there any benefit in upgrading to the 2004 version rather then just extending my virus subscriptions by another year ?

If the answer to the 1st question is yes, how do I fully uninstall the version I have on now as I believe it will still think that my subscriptions expire this month ?

to uninstall do a file search for virusdefs

delete the folder it finds then uninstall in the normal way.

I have 2002 version and just pay subscription each year.

BTW if you reinstall on a freshly formatted pc the subscription will start from the day you install it again ;)

Oh and subscription Systemworks Pro £16.71
Upgrade to Systemworks Pro 2004 £54.30

Good that, init :D I've had three years without renewing the subscription since I rarely make it six months without reformatting my PC. Bargain !

    Cheers, Carl.

Does anyone know if the NAV 2004 engine offers any benefits over the 2002 one ? I know they both use the same virus definitions but was wondering if the newer version is any better ?

The 2004 versions of all products have Product Activation, so if you install on more than 1 machine, you could have problems.

I have renewed my subscription because of this
