North England region bbc1

I live in Edinburgh and m service is with Virgin (Was telewest)

I have always wanted my BBC1 to be that of people in Cumbria ie Look North BBC1 news etc, as at the moment I get BBC1 scotland.

I tried calling them, but they werent interested, does anyone know of any wee tricks of the trade to get this changed?

Unfortunatley you cannot change this, although if you tune to channel 861 you will get BBC england

that doesnt work for me (Virgin). Are you sure this isnt for Sky, as I know they can get all the regions :-(

Sorry just realised you are Ex Telewest this only works with Ex NTL regions, Although you might want to try the sudio descripter channel as this is London based
