I'm just about to convert my entire CD collection into either atrac3+ 192 or 320 kbps (out of interest, is there much difference between the two?)

I wish to normalize all my tracks so that they are the same volume (I'm not concerned with preserving volume differences between tracks). What would be the best method of going about this as to minimize quality loss? Does anyone know any good programs for this purpose?

    thanks

I'm not the best person to answer this but what I would advise is to check what bitrates are compatible with your device before ripping the CD's.

    For example the NW-HD5 / NW-HD5H is only compatible with 48K, 64K 192K and 256K.
