    Hi
Is it possible to use my nook glowlight (maybe 5 years old) with the free ebooks I get with my Amazon prime?

    Thanks

Not unless they're DRM free. Unlike other ebook stores Amazon's books are typically in a custom AZW/KF8 format only usable with the kindle devices or app.

You can, if you are happy to remove the DRM and convert them, which is pretty easy to do. I won't go into the specifics, but download Calibre (calibre - E-book management), visit the Apprentice Alf site for instructions and to download the tools you need. Once its set up, you just load your books into Calibre, and either convert the books to epub before putting them on your Nook or use Calibre to load them and it'll automatically conver them to epub for you.
