    i am considering building a hcpc because the quality is meant to be good but what does it output? Progressive, interlaced?
    Sorry for the stupid question but am curious :)

    It can pretty much output anything you want, but non-interlaced (progressive) is the norm. You can pick the best resolution and refresh rate to match the display device and source material
