Sorry if this has been asked & answered before but I can't find a related post:

Can a non stock, sub 137 gb locked Hard Disk be detected by and the machine banned by X-Box Live? If so does anyone know of any situations where this has occured?

I've just been speaking to the bloke who's chipping my box and I mentioned that i'm sticking a 120gb HD into it. He said that M$ were now able to scan hard drives and ban all non stock ones - whether locked or not.
