    Hello all,

Just a quick question (I searched for this, and couldn't see a definitive answer)

Could speakers interfere/ damage a plasma screen, the way they could with a CRT?

I've got one of those iPOD speaker systems (like the Bose one) and want to sit it near my PV500.

    Should that be an issue?

    Thanks for any help.

    Cheers.
    MD

Speakers do not affect Plasma or LCD.CRT sets are basically an electron "gun" and the magnetic field from a speaker affects the electron beams. That's a very rudimentary explanation and I don't pretend to know more than that.Suffice to say that Plasma and LCD work in a way that isn't disturbed by the magnetic field from a speaker.
