    Hi

I live in South Africa and we utilise the PAL system. Am very interested in a Pioneer 5100H but cannot find a multiregion model online (must be from a retailer who ships here ..... unfortunately that eliminates about 90% of retailers, esp in the UK)

My question is whether a multiregion model is the one to get. As I understand it correctly, if I get a zoned model, then I can only PLAYBACK DVD's in that particular zone ..... although this should have no impact on what I burn .... someone please correct me if I'm wrong and advise me if a non-multiregion model would be OK.

    Many thanks.

Will stop you from watching imported commercial DVDs from other 'zones' - that's all.
